About the Artist

  • Hello there!

    `

I'm Emily. The artist for Moshicat. I loooooove cats, and also love to draw cute kitties. Moshicat was a little hobby that I started during the Covid-19 Pandemic to spread some “pawsitivity”. I posted my artwork mainly at Instagram (and TikTok as well). I'm most grateful that my art style has garnered the support of over 200k followers thus far on Instagram. I hope the cute meow meow can bring a smile to your day!

I am very thankful for all the encouragement and support received along the way. Your every little purchase would give me confidence and supports me to continue creating the art that I love!

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a lovely day!

    Lots of love ❤

Who is the MUSE

My kitty Moshi was adopted from the SPCA in Jan 2021. And yes! - my social media account and my shop Moshicat was named after him actually haha! ❤

A lot of inspiration for my artwork came from Moshi. He is lazy (spending 90% of the time sleeping), likes to belly-up for petting, has a blackhole stomach (hungry 24/7), and most importantly - super duper adorable! It always puts a smile on my face when I see him. My life is much sweeter with him around. Thank you so much for your company ❤

Collaboration with National Heritage Board (NHB)

I worked with Singapore National Heritage Board (NHB) on Museum Roundtable Hongbao Campaign 2022 (year of tiger) to design Lunar New Year Red Packets for 35 public & private museums, galleries, and heritage institutions as well as NHB. Each design is unique, to best capture the distinguishing feature of each participating body.  I'm so happy that the designs received a lot of positive feedback from the general public and collectors.
